Random stuff, just meant for ideas regarding games, the industry and in general.

While playing as Sedna, minions (such as the Yeti) seem to have major trouble with AI pathing around corners and getting to targets on the otherside, especially in more crowded fights.  This results in the Yetis at times "pressing" against the map edge in "confusion".

I get so frustrated (and the bad kind of frustrated, rather than the good kind that comes from playing a hard but good fight) when I've told my yetis to go do something, and they end up doing something stupid.  Who else has had this all too common scene.  You tell your yetis and company to go do something, mean time you either go manage another part of your army (because you reach a point where you can actually split your forces into 2 groups, or you are just running your hero back for health boost while the minions are heading to the front lines to slow the tide of *other side*)  and you look up to find not only have your minions not gone to where they should be (or attacked who they should be) but they are standing around in some even less than optimal situation.  Like I've had both the minions and sedna forget what I told them to go do half way through them going there.

ALso, I tell my guys to attack someone, they need to go do it.  They shouldn't stand around like dumpasess, until I've told them like 3 times, and they shouldn't stop killing that person just because they moved a short distance, even then if they are obviously on the aggressive, I shouldn't have to keep telling them to go fight people.  I hate when I'm there trying to fight back a tide of enemies, and they kill a man, then walk AWAY from the battle.  Like I'd understand if they auto-back to me, because like they are my minions and once they have their tasks they can return to me.  But they don't, they walk futher back behind me so they are not in any way useful, and when I'm trying to not-die from the assassin that about to eat my face (or more accurately smash with hammer/nuke with mines) I shouldn't have to tell them to not just stand around but actually fight the bad guys at their damn feet.

I really hope beta 3 introduces some sort of attack move mechanic or aggressive, deffensive, focus fire, or something minion tactics..   Something to vastly improves minion AI in some way.  I like playing them like an RTS (having a huge throng of them and directing them around the map) and I feel like somehow that has become harder in beta 2D over beta 2C.

I know its a duplicate, but I had to rant somewhere and couldn't find the other thread...   its late and I was very frustrated by my retarded yetis last game. and not just yetis because they all do it, even monks and ranged cannon guys.  My last game was especially bad for minion path fail.  So I subtitle this post *vent*
